Monday the 14th May 12. I thanked God for this wonderful Monday, it was a departure & farewell day of our brother, friend and missionary back to USA, we went to see him off and say good-bye and wished him safe journey. We thanked God for everything.
Tuesday the 15th May 12. I thanked God once more for this day, since my prayer day was taken by Coach Tony's farewell; I dedicated this day to seek God’s guidance through prayers, I prayed for the work in Math are and Huruma slums, I thanked God for the days grace.
Wednesday the 16th May 12. I thanked God for this day too, held morning devotion with change a life ministry workers, thereafter me and brother William went for follow-ups to sister Janet Adhiambo who had a serious family problem and had not come to the fellowship for the last two weeks, we did not found her but left the message to her neighbor to see us tomorrow at the church. Thereafter, went to visit brother Lawrence Onyango held Bible study with the family, and invited their friend Grace to the Church come Sunday. Then we went back to the church, here I held a redemption study with Sister Risper Ayoyi, God worked in her heart and I will baptize on Sunday. We thanked God for his grace of the day.
Thursday the 17th May 12. I thanked God for this day, I held morning devotion with change a life ministry workers, after-wards me, and brother Peter Okoth went for follow-ups to recently converted and baptized sister Nancy and held Bible study with her, then we went back to the church and found when Sister Janet whom we missed to see yesterday had come, I held Bible study and prayed with her regards to her family problems, we trusted God for a miracle. Thanked Him further for the day’s grace.
Friday the 18th May 12. I thanked God for the day held morning devotion with change a life, then held a meeting with an agenda of planning for Saturday boys and girls club activities, we suggested two ways of reaching the parents of the kids, who are not coming to the church, with the good news, and came up with a plan of sending invitation through their children and as well requesting their contacts. Thereafter I visited the families of Phyllis Alang’o and Margaret Auma and held Bible study with them in the evening. I thanked God for his mercies in service.
The Saturday, the 19th May 12. I thanked God for the day, I visited the following families, James Were, Peter Obonyo and Jack Oungo and held redemption study with them, thereafter went to the boys and girls club program at the church, to organize how we can reach the parents of some kids who are not our members with the Gospel. Some of the kids who knew their parents cell phone contact numbers gladly give them out.
Sunday the 20th May 12. We thanked God for the day, it was a wonderful Sunday, I went to the Church very early in the morning as usual, held morning devotion, prepare the church hall for the day’s fellowship.
Sunday school. Brother Peter took the initiative of teaching these little souls the way of God; he taught them about, the great commandment, called “Love”. Biblical reference
Main service. Brother Peter Okoth too was the emcee of the day, he welcome brother Charles Ogada for an opening prayers, thereafter led the church into hymn songs, after-wards welcome praise and worship team who joyfully and wonderfully led the church into a blessed session in praising the name of our mighty father, the church eventually enters into prayers, we thanked God for everything.
Presentations: 1. Little Joan Wairimu presented a song entitled” I gona be with Jesus one of this day’s” 2. Sister Evelyn Atieno, presented a song entitled “Where will I be when I die”? 3. Lawrence Onyango presented a song entitled” If Jesus commands me, I can go to preach the good news with confidence”
Lord's Table. Brother Steven Oguna led the session, he taught from the book of Luke 22:14, he encouraged the church that all Jesus did was for our benefit, and thus by taking holy communion we are joined with him in eternity.
Offering. Brother Charles Ogada led the session, he taught from the book of Proverb 19:17 and Luke 12:16, he encourages the church that, giving at means borrowing God and that God will reward a cheerful giver.
Word: Preaching. I brother James did the preaching, I talked about the curse in the worldly blood following sinful acts and subsequently the power of deliverance in the blood of Jesus Christ, through obeying the Gospel, Biblical reference, Leviticus 17:10-15, Revelation 1:5, Hebrews 9:11. We thanked God the day's grace. Brother John Wanjala closed with a word of prayer. We had also baptism service, God worked in heart of brother Zephaniah during I held a redemption study with him last week. Afterwards I, brothers, GeorgeNgesa, Charles Ogada went to visit and pray for Carolyn Otieno who was sick. We thanked God for everything and went to our homes very late in the evening.
The attendance of the day stood up to 138 people.

Monday 7th /May/2012. I once more thanked God for this day wonderful day, for I took a humble time with God, to meditate up his word and as well seek His guidance of the week. It was a real blessing to be in the presence of God.
Tuesday 8th /May/2012. I thanked God for this day too, in the morning, I held redemption study with brother Zephaniah Atito, God worked in his heart, he welcomes Jesus in his heart, and I will baptize him the following Sunday, thereafter I encouraged sister Milka in her new faith, she is one of those whom I baptized last Sunday. Finally, I held a Bible study with 11 people living with HIV/AIDS, encouraged them in their love for God, I asked one of them, Brother Francis to close with a word of prayer, and we thanked God and left for our homes.
Wednesday the 8th /May/2012. I thanked God for the day, in the morning, I held meeting devotion with change a life staff, thereafter me, brothers Peter and Jacob went for follow-ups to Claris Odhiambo, a widow, whose eldest son had mental problems, and was discharged from Mathare mental hospital, we encouraged the family in their love for God’s word, thanked God for his grace , on our back to the church, we met with Phyllis Omondi,who has taken sometime without coming to church, we encouraged him of the importance of fellowshipping together. We thanked God for everything.
Thursday the 9th /May/2012. I will never seize to thank God for his grace of the day; it takes his grace to see the break of the day. As usual I held morning devotion with change a life ministry, thereafter went to visit and pray for Sister Janet, director change a life ministry, who was sick, thereafter I proceeded to Bible house at the Town to confirm the prices of Kiswahili and English, NT. Bibles, Coach Tony had suggested that the newly baptized saints be given such Bibles to enhance their faith in Christ. I found their prices high, so Coach said that, he would see if he could get some Bibles for these brethrens from USA... I thanked God for the day’s grace.
Friday the 11th /May/2012. I thanked God for this day, I held morning devotion with change a life ministry, thereafter for follow-ups to the family of Lawrence one of the church elder, whose baby got burnt, and was admitted and had been discharged from Kenyatta National Hospital, I encouraged her in her love for God, prayed with her. Thereafter I went to visit Sister Frieda Obara who was also sick at baba-dogo, some 10 to 15 km from, Mathare; I encouraged her with the word of God, prayed for her healing. Then on my way back, I met with Brother Richard Odero, took him to the church and held with him a redemption study, God worked in his heart will be among those people to be baptized next week. I thanked God for everything.
Saturday the 12/May/2012. I thanked God for this day; I held Bible study with 5people, recently baptized, and later in the evening held a redemption study, Brother Elijah and James Were, I invited them to the church this Sunday. I thanked God for everything.
Sunday the 13th /May/2012. I thanked God once more for another wonderful Sunday; I woke to the church very early in the morning as usual, and prepared the hall for the day’s service. Brother Peter Okoth led the Sunday school class, he taught about the Ten Commandments, from the book of exodus 20:1--, it was a blessing to hear these little children responding positively and lively during their session and as well praising God joyfully with praised.
Songs: Down the line to the main service, brothers Peter/ Jacob were the day’s emcees, they welcome me for an opening prayer, they then led the church to hymn songs, afterwards welcome praise and worship team, the team led the church into a powerful and blessing praises.
Presentations: 1. Little Joan Wairimu, presented a song entitled, “Farewell to Coach Tony, a time to say goodbye to our friend”
2. Change a life staff team; presented a song entitled,”Mbele ninaendelea” [I continue to march forward].
3. Brother Charles and I presented a song entitled “[Chieng ma Yesu duogo gi piny biro rumo” [When Jesus comes, worldly possession will remain here.]
Brother Dino Oketch from Kisumu, led the Lord’s table he talked from the book of John 11:1, narrated the story of Mary and Martha and as well of an incident where he forgot to take with him the key to his hotel room, he had to go back to collect it. He compared taking Lord’s Table with these two stories, saying that, Jesus is the key to eternal life and that one should not forget Holy Communion through his blood and bread.
Brother Steven Oguna led the offering, he taught from the book of Acts 5:1, he encouraged the church that, one should give as he or she decides without a double heart, thus this unacceptable before God, and can lead to a fatal punishment.
Coach Tony Mauldin talked from the book of Daniel 5:1, 17, 23, he encouraged the church to be aware of pride. And that we need to make sure that we are on God’s side and use our resources to help others, he continued saying that when good things comes on our ways, we should give God the credit and when the opposite happens we should pray. The service was so wonderful and lively. We thanked God for everything, brother Hutch from USA, closed with a word of prayer. The total turn up stood at 130 People plus kids.

Friday the 4th May 2012. I thank God for this wonderful day, I held morning devotion with Change a life ministry staffs, we also had a meeting to plan for tomorrows boys and girls club program. Thereafter I went out for follow-ups.To the families, Zephania Atito, Stephen Odhiambo and Elizabeath Mamuu,I encouraged them in their Love for God. I thanked God for everything.
Saturday the 5th May 2012. I thanked God for the day, everything went a long well as planned. I went out to do follow-ups to those who were be baptized on Sunday, I encouraged them on their faith, prepared them for tomorrows baptism exercise.
Sunday service of the 6th May 2012. I thanked God for another wonderful Sunday day,he has made that we may rejoice and be glad in it, I woke up as usual went to arrange the church for Sunday service,as well prepare baptistry for the baptism exercise, I took the initiative of teaching the young Kids the way of God,Little Ndanu led the opening prayer, then little Lucy led a chorus praise song, entitled “If you want to grow, read your Bible and pray every day”
I talk with them from the book of Ephesians 6:1-3, regards the blessings of honoring our parents. It was a real blessing to see these young expressing their love for God through,praises, active participation in Sunday school class. Finally little Joy closed with a word of prayer, their attendance stood to 48 kids.
Brother Jacob and Peter were the emcee of the day, they welcome brother Charles for an opening prayer.Thereafter they welcome praise and worship team,they in-turn led the entire Church into praise and worship songs.
Presentations: Brothers Charles and Lawrence presented a song in their native language entitled, “Yesu kedo wanalo”meaning “Jesus is fighting on our behalf” Coach Tony Mauldin led the Lord's table, he talked from the book of 1Corinthians 11:23,24,he reminded the church, that Jesus Christ died for all of us,thus it all about Jesus but not about any body else. I, James led the offering, I shared from the book of 2Corithians 9:6,10, that God loves a cheerful giver and that for the measure one use,it will measured to him or her. Finally brother Javan Opeywa preached from the book of Exodus 3:3-15, about believing and trusting God for a break through in times troubles,temptations and life challenges. It was a wonderful Sunday service. Brother Steven closed with a word of prayer.
Thereafter we had baptism service with ten people who had given their lives to Jesus during a redemption study I had with them in separate occasions, those who were baptized and added to the church are, 1. Eunice Akinyi,2.Juliet Atieno,3.Duncan Ouma,4. Nancy Adhiambo,5. Fedelis Odhiambo,6.Brian Oduor,7.Milka Ndungwa, 8.Christine Mutwoki 9.Agnes Waywa and 10. Jane Lucy. Again brother Steven prayed for the service.
After-wards Coach Tony, held a seminar with men of the church regards public speaking, teaching and leadership. Prior to that, we had our lunches here, provided by Coach Tony,may he be blessed together with all our friends who are supporting this work. Men welcome the seminar with a positive attitude, we thanked God for his grace, brother Charles Ogada closed with a word of prayer. Finally Later in the evening I, James,brothers Charles and George went to visit sister Easther Otieno,who had been sick-ling for the past one month, she had an operation due to womb related problems, she was back at her house, we encouraged her in her love for God,prayed with her, and thanked God that, she has really shown a grate improvement,we thanked God for everything then left for our homes.
Thanks to those who have been praying for this sister,we are proud that God has answered our prayers.
Thanks too to Mathare North church of Christ, change a life ministry team and all our sponsors for the good work in giving hope to the poor in this community. Turn up stood up to 86 people.

Monday the 30th April. I had a series of Bible study with a number of people who had come to the funeral, God worked in the hearts of many people here, and they wanted me to leave not. I encouraged the widowed mother of brother Steven and the entire family with many words from the good book,the Bible. Finally, I left for Nairobi at 7.45pm, I trusted God for a safe journey back to the city, I thanked God for everything, all was good and a blessing.
Tuesday the 1st May 2012. I thanked God for a safe journey back to Nairobi. I arrived at 4.00am, I took time of rest from that long trip. God bless, Mathare North Church, Change a life ministry and all those who are sponsoring this work, we dearly appreciate your efforts.
Wednesday the 2nd May 2012. I thanked God for this day, I held morning devotion with change a life ministry staff, then, me brother Jacob and Peter went out for follow-ups to mama Margret Auma whose youngest son got burnt in a hot water,this morning, after praying for the kid,we asked if she had taken him to the nearest hospital,she said that, she lacked the money, I then gave her 30/= the only coin I had, she was to add 20/= in order for this kid to be registered to Baraka hospital for treatment.
We were able also to held Bible study with her neighbor who had come to see the condition of the child ,we prayed together with them and invited her with the family to the church for service and boys and girls club which always takes place on Sundays and Saturdays weekly. We thanked God for everything, and went back to the office for our lunches. Finally we thanked God for his grace of the day.
Thursday 3th May 2012. I thank God for the day, I held morning glory with change a life ministry staffs, thereafter went out for follow-ups to those whose baptism exercise was post-pone, me and brother William Mutua visited sister Tabitha and found that,she had traveled up-country and that she will come back in two weeks time. Thereafter we moved to sister Evelyn Akinyi, we encourage her in her love for God and study with her the book of Mathew 6:33.
Later, I went to new convert Sister Milka Ndungwa,held with her a bible study on baptism,in her house I also found her nice,Mutwoke, who had come long way from home,God worked in her heart and she gave out her life to Jesus and will be among those to be baptized this Sunday. The shocking story, is that, this lady had a four years old daughter who was diagnosed by doctors and found to have a hole in her heart,and that it requires Kenya shillings 83,000/= to correct this state, the family is appealing to well-wishers to help in saving the life of the little Christine Mukayi who continues to depreciate day-by day, due to lack of funds that has rocked the family. I prayed together with the family and took the little Christine to have lunch at the church, where we currently prepare lunch for the destitute kids in this slums, for from morning they had not even get something to bite.
Later in the evening I held redemption study with sister Nancy Adhiambo, she gave out her life to Jesus and agreed to be baptized this Sunday. I thanked God for his grace of the day. God bless all, In Christ, Evangelist James Ooko. Kenya Church of Christ, Mathare North.

Thereafter I had redemption study with Brian Otieno, Nancy Adhiambo, God worked in their hearts and they are ready for baptism the coming Sunday. Glory be to God, Amen.
Wednesday the 25th April 2012. I thanked God for this day once more, I held morning devotion with change a life ministry staffs,thereafter helped brother Jacob Ogodo in putting straight the academic records of kids who are in education sponsorship program,thereafter I had Bible study with Frida Okusi, Edith Ethenye,Elizabeath Mamuu.I glorified the name of our heavenly father for his grace.
Thursday the 26th April 2012. I thanked God for the day,I held morning devotion with the change a life ministry staffs, thereafter we went for follow-ups to the family of Loyce, a new convert, had Bible study with her family, Elijah & Fidel her sons and Dancun Omollo the husband, we invited the husband and their two sons to the church, as well to boys and girls club activities which takes place on Saturdays and Sundays weekly at the church, We thanked God for his grace in His service.
Friday the 27th April 2012. I thanked God for the good day, I held morning devotion with Change a life ministry staffs, thereafter I went for follow-ups to those who were to be baptized this Sunday,namely, Juliet Atieno, Nancy Adhiambo,Brian Otieno,Dancun Ouma Fedelis Odhiambo, Milka Ndungwa,Susan Kagai,Wamistya, I encouraged them in their faith and thanked God for the grace of the day.
Saturday the 28th April 2012. We thanked God for this far, the program of teaching the young ones the way of God, playing games and singing with them,all went well as planned. Thereafter we served the kids with snacks,drinks and battered bread as they wash their hands too with disinfectant soap, the exercise was a blessing. The detailed report is with Sister Janet, Change a life ministry director. Thereafter I set off to Mumias for a burial ceremony of the father of my co-Evangelist, brother Steven Oguna, It was a journey of 9-10 hrs' drive,I trusted God for my long travel. N/b, Following this emergency occurrence, I had to post-pond the baptism exercise up to the next Sunday.
Sunday the 29th April 2012. I thanked God for a safe journey, I arrived to Mumias at 9.00am, the family and neighbors of brother Steve gave me a warm welcome. After I had a rest for some time, I held a gospel fellowship with the family and all those who had come to the funeral, I preached about Jesus and God's kingdom,this went up to late in the evening, in an interval of two sessions, each took 40minutes. Thereafter we had our supper, I continued with the preaching from 10pm to 11pm, Then I had a rest. Many people continued to come to hear the Gospel. N/b God to bless Coach Tony,for he made my travel possible by providing my bus fare.
Brother Jacob Ogodo opened with the word of prayer. Thereafter, brother George and Peter was the emcee of the day,they welcome the praise and worship team led by sisters Ruth and Fridah who led the entire church into praise and worship song. The emcees then welcome brother Zephania Atito to lead Lord's table, he taught from the book of Mathew 26:26. Brother Jacob Ogodo led the offering session,he taught from the book of Mark 14:1-11,then finally the word was given by Coach Tony Mauldin, he preached a bout Joseph and his brothers from the book of Gen 37:1...Brother John Wanjala then closed with a word of prayer.
The attendance stood at 68 Adults plus 22 children = 90 people.
I greet you all in Jesus name. In whatever circumstances, my dear brothers and sisters, may the Lord give you his joy. I will never get tired of telling you the same things I have told you before regards, to what God is doing in our community, I am doing this for the glory of God the father of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
Monday 16th . April.2012.
I thank God for another great day, as regards to Jesus teaching about prayer,that Christians must keep on praying- and not give up!, I took a silent time with God, to seek his guidance through prayer, meditating up-on the Bible. It was a wonderful experience to be in the house of God for a day. I prayed for our beloved country Kenya, our rulers,the church, change a life ministry plus all our sponsors. I thanked and glorified God for his mercies of the day.
Tuesday 17th .April. 2012.
I thank God for his grace of the day, through his power,he enable to have a Bible study with the following, Philiph Ondiek, Frida Okusi, Jared Odhiambo and Janet A dhiambo, these two had family problems, I encouraged and counsel them with the word of God, pray for them and dispersed, I thank God for the day.
Wednesday 18th .April.2012.
I thank God for this day, in the morning, I had redemption study with Eunice Akinyi and Erick Otieno, God worked in the heart of Eunice and that,she is very ready to be baptized this Sunday. Thereafter I joined my fellow staffs of change a life ministry for a morning devotion, later me and brother sister Pauline Ingasha were assigned for follow-ups, we visited and encouraged the following family in their love for God, Edith Ethange, we found her friend by the name,Lilian who was mute and deaf, luckily enough, sister Edith was a sign language expert, so she really helped our communication with this sister. Sister welcome the good news with joy, and even gave us her contact and requested to be encouraged with the word through short message service. We thanked God for his grace and came back to the office for our lunches.
Thursday 19th .April.2012.
I thanked God for the day, held meeting devotion with change a life ministry staffs, thereafter we were assigned to do follow-ups, me and brother William Mutua, we visited the following families and encouraged them in their faith in God, Mama Leila and Janet Odhiambo,on our way back, we meet new convert, sister Christine Kagai, we agreed to meet with her in the church this evening for a word of encouragement, we welcome her to the church on Sunday too. We thanked God for his grace of the day.
Friday 20th .April.2012.
I thanked God for this day, this was the busiest day, I held a morning devotion with change a life ministry staffs, later in a meeting with agenda of planning for tomorrow's boys and girls Bible club activities, in-terms of Bible lessons,Games,drinks and snacks, finally taking care of their hygiene, by washing their hands with a disinfectant soap before serving them with snacks and drinks. The meeting was wonderful, we thanked God for everything, the left for our homes in the evening.
Saturday 21th April.2012.
Everything went along well as planned, it was a joyful moments to be with kids, please the full reports of the day’s activities and all are with Change a life director, sister Janet. We thanked God for his mercies of the day and left to our homes in the evening.
Sunday the 22nd April 2012. Sunday the 15th .3.2012.
I thanked God too for this good day, he has been faith on us for the whole week, as usual brother Peter Okoth, led Sunday School class, he taught this little hearts about God’s plan to his people, they sang sweet praise songs to the name of the Lord. Their membership stood to 51.
Bother George Otieno was the emcee of the day, then led the church into hymn and praise songs. It was a real blessing.

Sister Matilda Kerubo, presented a song in Kiswahili language, entitled “ Furaha kutoka juu kwa mungu, imo ndani ya moyo wangu,” [ Godly joy reigns in my heart].
Sister Everlyne Atieno, Presented the song in dholuo,[her mother tongue] entitled, “Tachewa onego rieny, mondo ka’Ruoth obiro to wadhi kode”[ our lumps should keep on burning, such that if Lord Jesus comes, we may go home with him”.
Sunday school led by little Joan Wairimu, presented a song in Kiswahili entitled “ Wapendwa wa mungu, msiwe kama wageni, [ Beloved of the Lord, let’s not be like visitors”]. Little Joan Wairimu presented a poem entitled” The birth of Jesus”.
The teens team presented two songs 1. entitled, “All to Jesus I surrender”.And 2.In Kiswahili, ninayo hamu kuishi na Yesu Kristo mwokosi wangu, [ “I desire to live with my savior, Jesus Christ”].
Thereafter I was selected to lead the Lords Table, I taught from the book of John 6:53, Brother Lawrence led, offering session, he taught from the books of Malachi 1:6-8 and Acts, 9:36, Finally brother Steven Oguna led the preaching from the book of 2Kings,5:1-14,he encouraged the church about the importance of persistence prayers. It was a blessing. We thanked God for everything.
The membership stood to 72+, I helped with language interpretation as well. We thanked God for everything. Let's all be blessed, those who have contributed toward this work in what measure. We are thankful for the good job.

Mathare/ Huruma Evangelism Updates from 9th to 15th April 2012. Mathare North Church of Christ/ Change a life Ministry[ Kenya]
I greet you all in Jesus name, I thank God for all those who are continually support the work of God in Mathare/Huruma slums, your support has really brought a significant change in this community, to name just a few, with the just concluded church renovation, these poor people now have a safe, secure place where they can worship God, free from hot sun, rainy and cold weathers, the facility also serves as meeting hall and office where the change a life ministry staff meet to plan and execute boys and girls Bible club as well door to door evangelism and follow-ups regards church members and to the schools where sponsored kids are taking their education. A way from that, the introduction of providing these little kids with a balance diet meal once per week, is really good, imagine most of these kids has never tasted, peanut batter, Jam and through your support they are able to have something smart to bite!

Let's pray, God you hate hypocrisy, it turns others away from you. Blunt our natural inclination to seek personal recognition for whatever good things you allow us to do, we don't want to be phonies, but neither do we want be glory hounds. Fill us with the spirit, and teach us to follow your example in gladly giving all glory to your son Jesus. In Jesus Christ name I pray Amen.

I thank God for this day, for it was my day to seek God's face wrestling with Him like Jacob at Jabbok, that he may bring change to the lives of the people in this community, for many are bound by poverty & hunger, sin, evil spirits,sickness, denominational spirits, plus all kinds of satanic bondage. I pray that God to touch his people in a mighty way.
Tuesday the 10th April 2012.
I thank God too for this day, through God's grace, I was able to visit, the family of Claris Akinyi, a widower whose first born was suffering from mental disorders, I share with them the importance of having faith in God and his word, prayed with them together, I thanked God that After prayers, the boy calmed. And on my way I passed to Margret's house encouraged her in her Love for God. Finally I went to organize how the church could be cleaned,all went a long well, I thanked God for his grace then went home.
Wednesday the 11th April 2012.
I thank God for once more this day, I had morning glory with change a life social workers, borther Peter Okoth opened with a word of prayer, I gave a word of encouragement from the book of 1Corithians 15:58, brother William then closed with a word of prayer. Thereafter me and sister Pauline Ingasha went out for follow-ups as the others too, we vistied Mama Calistus and her neighbor, Pamela, we did Bible study with them, thereafter prayed for mama Calistus who was very sick. On our way we pass by to see sister Mary Wambui, a single parent of the two kids in change a life ministry program,we did a redemption study with her,we agreed to come with them to church on Sunday. Later, I had a Bible study with 10 new converts and brother Stevephen joined me a long the way. We thanked God for his grace, we went back to the office for our lunches, thanked God and dispersed to our homes.
Thursday 12th April 2012.
I will never seize to thank God for each day,for each day is a miracle to see, this day I had redemption study with sister Mary Wambui, who we visited yesterday, she wanted to know more about baptism, after the study she was convicted that, there is a need for her to be baptized for the remission of her sins. I asked her if she was ready for baptism today,but she promised to turn up next week.for baptism. Thereafter I joined my co-workers of change a life ministry staff in a morning glory, led by sister Ruth Atieno, who appointed brother William Mutua for a word of prayer, and brother Peter Okoth for a word of encouragement, he welcome everybody to share what God has done in his/her life during Easther holidays,people glorified God for his care, provision and protection, irrespective hard and harsh life challenges.
Coach Tony Mauldin encouraged the group to focus in expressing their practical love towards kids,the youth by encouraging them to participate in God's service as well creating time to do redemption study with them. Thereafter, me and sister Pauline Ingasha were assigned to pass by to check how mama Calistus was doing, we found that she had been taken to the hospital, we then proceed to pray for sister Matilda Kerubo, new convert, who has been sick-ling for the last one week,we encouraged her in her faith in the word of God, prayed for her,then back to the office for Lunches, thanked God for his grace of the day, then dispersed to our homes.

Change a life ministry Saturday program, “planning meeting”
I thanked God for this day, we had morning devotion, sister Ruth Atieno opened with a word of prayer, sister Emily gave the group a word of encouragement from the book of Ecclesiastes 9:10, Coach Tony Mauldin encouraged the group to work toward bringing change to the people living in Mathare through evangelism, sister Janet also encouraged the group to stand for the truth in all circumstances. Later the staff of change a life ministry took an initiative of planning the tomorrows, boys and girls Bible club's program. Coach Tony provided for our lunches,we thanked God,the went to our homes.
Saturday the 14th April 2012.
I thank God for this wonderful day, for it was, a day of change a life ministry Boys and girls club program, all went well as planned, I joined my fellow teachers in playing games and singing with these little hearts,after Bible teaching program was over, we helped in washing the hands of kids and as well serve them with snacks,juice and battered bread,it was a blessing to see the kids having something to bite with a smiling face, we thank God for Coach Tony, toward his tireless efforts in bringing change in the lives of the less-privileged people of this community, by getting people involved in this great commission. Sunday the 15th April 2012.
I thanked God too for this good day, he has been faith on us for the whole week, as usual brother Peter Okoth, led Sunday School class, he taught this little hearts about obedience toward God and their parents, they sang sweet praise songs to the name of the Lord, it was really a joyful moments seeing these little kids expressing their love for God. Their membership stood to 48.
Bother Jacob Omondi was the emcee of the day,he welcome me for an opening prayer, then led the church into hymn and praise songs. It was real blessing.
Presentations: ◆ Little Joan Wairimu, presented a song entitled, “One of these days I gonna be in Heaven” ◆ A team of Sunday School/Youths, presented two song entitled, “Joy to the world the king is born”, “Adam and Eve sinned by eating the forbidden fruit”. ◆ Little Lewis Wachoke, presented a song entitled, “Our quest , come and join us for a unity, for it is the way of life for me and you” ◆ Little Joan Wairimu/ Mornica Mondhanje, Presented a song entitled, “ The importance of education”. ◆ Change a life staffs, Emily & Ruth presented a song entitled,, “He has saved me, I thank him”. ◆ Thereafter Coach Mauldin, led the Lords Table, the message was, we should not work for self righteousness, but seek that comes from God through the death of Jesus Christ,thus it is not a bout us but Jesus who died for us. He red the book of Luke 18:10.◆ Brother Steve Oguna led the offering session, he taught from the book of Luke 18:22, the a rich ruler, who lacked the spirit of helping the poor.
◆ Finally brother Phabian Paul preached the meaning and importance of Jesus Christ as interpreted in the four gospels, as a king, a servant, a son of man and as God, and thus he knows everything, lived on earth as we do, passed through all the challenges we are currently facing, but he over-come them all, so he able to help us from all spiritual battles. It was a blessing.
We thanked God for everything. The membership stood to 80+, I helped with language interpretation. Let's you all be blessed, those who have contributed toward this work in what measure. We are thankful for the good job.

I glorify the name of the almighty God for his mercy to see another week, I had a peaceful time with God through prayers and meditation up-on his holy book the “Bible”.It's always a blessing to be in a fellowship with our heavenly father.

Wednesday, 4th /4/12
I thanked God for this day, we had morning devotion with change a life ministry staff. Thereafter held a meeting to chart ways of implenting our new program of providing kids with a complete dieted meal per week, later in the afternoon I had a Bible study with twelve people living with HIV/AIDS, encouraged them in their love for God’ word. Finally, in the evening I had a redemption study with new convert Esther Akinyi, I thank God for the day for his mercies of the day.
Thursday, 5th /4/12.
I thanked God for this day once more, we had morning glory with change a life staff, led by brother Jacob Omondi,we review the previous agenda, a new program of serving boys and girls club members with at-least with a whole meal once per week as well sighting into some hygienic procedures of washing their hands with a disinfectant soap before serving them. Thereafter we all went to visit and pray for our sister Esther Otieno who has been sick-ling at Sat. Mary's hospital, we encouraged her in her faith in God, prayed together and thanked God that she had a grate improvements, we thanked God and came back to the office and had our lunches,then left for our respective homes.
Friday the 6th /4/2012.
I thank God for this day, he enabled me to do follow-ups and encouraged the following families in their love for God, Zephania Atito, Kelvin Otieno and Clarice Akinyi and we agreed to meet at the church on Sunday,we thanked God for everything.
Saturday 7 th /4 /12.
I thanked God for this day, this was a day of boys and girls club, a program of change a life ministry, the activities were done well as planned, the detailed report of the same is with sister Janet. I enjoyed dancing, playing with this little hearts,I was assigned to teach the little kids aged 3-7 years, taught them about,good Friday,Easter holidays, regards to the Crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, scripture reference 1Corithians 15:1-4. Detailed report of the entire program is with Sis. Janet. We thanked God for his mercies of the day. We thanked God for everything.
Sunday 8 th /4/212.
I thanked God for this day; Peter Okoth took the part of teaching our young kids the way of God. Brother George Otieno was the emcee of the day, he led the church to hymn songs and later welcome praise and worship team, who joyfully led the entire church to praise and worship songs. Sunday school team, teens, presented different songs and poems Brother Stephen led the Lord’s Table, he taught from the book of 1Corithians 11:23, brother Jacob led the offering session, he taught from the book of Mark 11:35,41 and finally the Word was preached by brother Charles Ogada and I took part of language interpretation, he preached from the book of Mark 13:17,The message of the day was, “what is impossible with men is possible with God” Membership stood at 58 adults and children 51.

Tuesday, 20/3/2012.
I thanked God for his grace of the day, brothers and me: Charles and George went to St. Mary’s hospital to visit and pray for Sister Esther Otieno, we encouraged all patients in that ward with the word of God and finally prayed for them. Then we left for Town, Brother George provided a light lunch, thereafter I and Brother Charles proceeded to the Estates to pray for Caroline Otieno who was suffering from backaches, then to sister Claris whose son was suffering from mental disorders, we thanked God for everything and went to our respective houses.
Wednesday, 21/3/12
I thank God for another day, this we had a morning devotion with change a life group ,and they then took the initiative of home visits with a bid of encouraging the faithful in their love for God and follow-ups to the schools where sponsored children are taking their education. Thereafter I held a redemption study with 10 people living with HIV/AIDS, I encouraged them in their faith in God, and we thanked God for his grace and left to our homes.
Thursday, 22/3/12.
I thank God too for this day, all the staffs of change a life ministry attended a seminar organized by Coach Tony Mauldin in a bid to reorganize the team for a productive and healthy service delivery, last year’s seminar agenda,1. Love, time management, commitment and redemption study reviewed. He encouraged the team to take God’s service as a first priority bearing in mind that we are all serving God not man. He taught and encouraged us more about the importance of teamwork. He provided for our breakfast, lunch and transport, we thanked God for everything.
Friday 23/3/2012.
I thanked God for this day, with the dedication spirit imparted on us yesterday at the seminar by Coach Mauldin; I was able to have a powerful redemption study with, Phyllis Alang’o, Susan Ngangi, Tabitha Kanyeni, Catherine Nzula, Anastasia Muli and Soso, old woman, Alice Ngoki. I thanked God for his grace of the day.

I thanked God for this day, bother Peter Okoth took the part of teaching our young kids the way of God, he taught them about love, ref: John 3:16. He also led opening prayers and brother Jacob Omondi was the emcee of the day, he led the church to hymn songs and later welcome praise and worship team, led the entire church to praise and worship songs.

Little Joan, Brother Charles and Lawrence presented different songs; it was a blessing to hear God’s people praising his glory.
Brother John Wanjala selected to lead the Lord’s Table, he taught the book of 2Tim.2:15.Brother Stephen Oguna led the offering session, he taught from the book of Acts 9:35, the reward of doing good deeds. Finally, Coach Tony Mauldin preached from the book of Esther 4:14… and 6:10. We thanked God for his grace seeing today.
